-You are required to register and insure your snowmobile 
and wear a helmet.  Failure to comply will result in a fine!!!

-Snowmobilers riding in New York State MUST have proof of 
 Liability Insurance (10, 20, 5) and NYS registration

-There are RESTRICTED AREAS:
YOU MUST STAY ON MARKED TRAILS

-Groomers have the right of way on all trails   
-No Wheeled Vehicles allowed on trails without 
written permission
-If a township road is open to snowmobiling, 
obey all vehicle laws (including stop signs)

-RESPECT the rights of property owners and residents.  
 DO NOT litter, stay on trails and when landowners 
 share show you care.

-Don't spin tracks when crossing roads.
-No track spinning on freshly groomed trails.
-Read & obey all signs.
